Lead time is the standard 7 days for off white powder coat or any sprayed paint finish. For powder coating in any colour other than off white it is 16 days. All spray colours are baked at 100°C to ensure a tough finish. The exact colour of the off white powder coat is Farrow and Ball's Pointing 2003. This is achieved by giving the factory off white powder coat a final spray coat of Pointing 2003. Powder Coat is a tough polyester finish baked on at 200°C. Read about Powder Coating. Please note that if you have your radiator powder coated by a 3rd party this invalidates the 10 year guarantee.
The spray paint colours shown above are kept in stock.
If spraying radiators at home, use ordinary aerosol paints such as Hamerite and Plastikote.
Any standard Farrow & Ball, RAL or British Standard colour can be used to spray your cast iron radiator, but there is a £40 charge for paint bought in specially. This charge is waived on larger orders of 40 sections or more. Where your colour choice is close to one already in stock, Castrads will offer that instead to avoid this charge. All prices are plus VAT.
